This year’s Surface Design Show proved to be a very successful few days where we showcased some of our newest materials & collections.
On stand 200 we presented a handpicked selection of our most aspirational new tile ranges for 2015. From beautiful natural stone tones and textures to ancient Japanese inspired wood effect tiles.
Here’s a look back over some of the popular collections we featured on our stand:
Drift Stone merges the colours of nature with technology for the perfect combination. The rectangular sizes enhance spaces and the seven colour shades make every design scheme unique.
Digital technology renders natural inspirations by bringing a touch of design to even the busiest retail spaces. From the grey of chalk through to the black of lead, the collection offers marvellous colour shades to ensure that every installation surprises.
Fine plates 6mm thick evoke the brutality and elegance of effusive rocks of volcanic origin, with a variety of movements and layers difficult to find in the extraction rocks.
Cumbria Stone is varied and versatile to offer the most compositional possibilities to the design. Its 1000x1000mm XXL format is studied to the expand the intended use of the contemporary porcelain tiles: just 6mm of thickness make it ideal for walls and flooring and also for high-traffic areas such as shopping malls and busy areas.
Charred represents a magical journey into the fascinating Japanese culture and is influenced by the ancient technique ‘Shou Sugi Sugi Ban’ which consists of the carbonization of wood planks.
Grestec have reinterpreted the fruit of this technique through Charred; a wood effect porcelain tile available in four colours and two surface finishes, in a format of 150x1200mm. The beautiful style of Charred provides elegance and individuality to all interiors.
